Voters Choose Sculpture

Voters can decide between two of the five sculptures including a 20 metre high, steel origami inspired kangaroo or a 30 metre high tower, Venus Rising. Executive Director at Arts Queensland Jenny Galligan, said despite the cost Queensland has a strong reputation for public art. “It is a big public art project but in the international scale of things it’s still good value for money,” Ms Galligan said.
