If you enjoy playing the game ‘if you could choose three people from history to have dinner with, then who would it be?’ or escape room styled puzzles then a night at The Time Travel Cafe is a must! Except instead of three you get five historical figures to explore what makes them tick. They may even showcase some of their unusual talents for you.

The Time Travel Cafe is an immersive and interactive 60 minute theatre experience held in a salubrious 1920’s French cafe setting complete with cablecar seating. Described by Spacefold Technology as Midnight in Paris meets Doctor Who.

From the minute you pass through the time portal you are whisked into a maelstrom of madness mixing with famous and infamous historical figures over a cocktail or two. The French-styled bar offers alcoholic drinks with a special selection of timely themed cocktails.

There are several rooms to wander through whilst bumping into bizarre caricatures warped by an unstable time machine. There is also a garden area surrounded by twinkling fairy lights to relax with some poetry or witness anachronistic antics under the stars.

Despite the time travel machine you only have 60 minutes to explore the surreal immersive experience before it spits you back in 2022. It is your opportunity to fraternise with each character and perhaps discover some of their deep dark secrets and naughty tit-bits.

If you explore thoroughly enough by getting into the nooks and crannies you may find the time machine and attempt to override the fusion reactor for a real surprise!

There are three sessions per evening and if you want to return for another unique time travelling twist there is a 50% discount on your return ticket. So what are you waiting for? Buy your time travelling tickets before you are ‘Outatime’!
