Australia is known for being a multicultural country with migrants across the globe making the 'Land Down Under' their new home. These communities began establishing their own community clubs in a unfamiliar land as a way of having a ‘home away from home’, keeping their culture, language and people together.

Located in Milton, the Polish Club - known as Polonia - is one of these clubs and it has been a cornerstone in the cultural fabric of the Brisbane community. 4zzz contributer, Toni Pankaluic chatted with the Polonia club president Henry Kurylewski and immersed himself in learning about Polish culture as well as what the future holds for this ethnic community club.
