Lost Star Found
On the 13th of October 1973, the Motor Vessel Blythe Star, a coastal freighter, disappeared just off the port from Tasmania while travelling from Hobart to King Island. Twelve days later the surviving crew were rescued on their life raft and the disappearance of the ship had ignited the largest ever maritime search ever in Australia and a review of Australian maritime safety law.
It's discovery 70 years later has been remarkable.
