BrisAsia Festival

BrisAsia Festival features traditional and contemporary Asian arts and cultural events across Brisbane. It profiles the work of local artists that identify with Asian heritage and promotes other Asian events held in our local communities. BrisAsia Festival aims to strengthen awareness of Asian culture in Brisbane through a series of events and hands on workshops, including Yum Chat, Chinese New Year, Neon Pop and Taste of Asia. Experience, express and explore Asian culture in Brisbane. Art Bites are free workshops so you can experience from Japan, China, Sri Lanka, India and South East Asia cultures. Learn how to cook a vegetarian curry or sweet cold desserts, create your own ceramic bowls, learn photography, how to bollywood dance or even juggle plates.
