The City Sounds: Anthony Dettori, Tichawona Mashawa, TwoCrows, & Bree Bullock

Anthony Dettori 11.30am, 12.30pm & 1.30pm @ Milano Cafe Anthony Dettori is a singer, songwriter and guitarist of indie soul-rock trio The Sunburys. He has forged a reputation for old school rock ’n’ roll attitude and strong musicianship, with his unpretentious song writing and spirited performances. In solo mode, he performs mellower, acoustic versions of songs from the band's albums. Tichawona Mashawa noon, 1pm & 2pm @ Queen Street Mall Stage Tichawona Mashawa is a composer, singer, guitarist and player of the Mbira and nyunga nyunga (thumb pianos). Mashawa’s sound is alive with the colour and flavour of Africa in song and stories, featuring unique vocals, original compositions and traditional music. TwoCrows noon, 1pm & 2pm @ Visitor Information Centre ARIA-nominated singer Sarah Calderwood and Sunas guitarist Paul Brandon are TwoCrows; an acoustic duo who play a diverse mix of originals and cover songs with flair and panache. They cross the roads of roots and folk, wander through world music and Celtic and revisit modern songs with their own arrangements. Bree Bullock noon-4pm @ Suitcase Rummage, Reddacliff Place Bree Bullock is a down to earth soulful performer, singer/songwriter and story teller. Bree has a beautiful Australian tone to her sound, with a twist of charisma and flare in her vocal abilities. Her tunes range from slow and heart-felt ballads, to jazzy love tunes and rootsy, blues-driven songs.
