CORN LIQUOR
Corn Liquor are a quartet of Guitar pickin’, bass slappin’, skin smackin, slack jawed yodels from deep south Brisneyland Australia. Born out of wedlock to a drunkin abusive father and a sailor lovin’ mother. Their music will have your feet doin’ a crazy mexican voodoo dance as the spirit takes hold. Listen at your own peril. This is DANGEROUS.

MIDNIGHT SON & THE CRIME SCENE
This is as real as country gets. Unlike many bands kicking around the country music scene, Midnight Son and the Crime Scene aren’t interested in messing with the format. They’re not traditional country. They’re not country rock. They’ve got their feet squarely in the alt country camp, only occasionally drifting into western territory. These boys stick to songs and styles that Willie, Waylon and the other country giants of old would be proud to call their own.
Michael Pearson AKA Midnight Son was born to be a country music front man. When the band kicks in, he gets a charming twinkle in his eye, a twang in his voice, and a slightly cocky shuffle as he makes his way around the stage. He has the crowd shaking their denim-clad cabooses with one song, and then puts them at the bottom of the bottle thinking about what could have been with the next. Between songs he’s an amicable storyteller, weaving little tales that effortlessly blend truth and fiction.

MEGAN COOPER
With eclectic, authentic and craftier storytelling than your average, Brisbane singer songwriter Megan Cooper is a name that has been earning praise since the release of her debut album, Ghost Choirs & Kings in 2013. Cooper’s songs are full of personal stories, sweet melodies - all with a sting in the tale.
On stage, Cooper breaks hearts with a “voice that is born to sing country – one part little girl sweet, one part knowing/world-weary” (Martin Jones, Rhythms Magazine). Winner of the TSA 2105 Country Song of the Year for her tune ‘Texas’, Cooper’s delivery spans the quirky to the high lonesome, in an honest to goodness, hometown, alt-country fashion.
