The Hard Launch
Deprogramme with episode two of The Lobster Trick. Leading off with noises, and sounds from the curator and featured artists of ADA x Drone Sound Experience. Then some black, death, doom and punk for the Devil's Hour (3am to 4am). A strong westerlie blows over a plethora of tracks from Perth/Boorloo including a few from new experimental compilation 'Sprouted Volume 3', and we hear a mix of old and new tunes from the bands playing the very first show for Singaporean label Surface Noise Records. And for vinyl fetishists, Permanent Pain by Manhunt (R.I.P) released in 2016, is the quintessential 7 inch of the week.
