Welcome to Protis Reviews. My name is Alan, and for an hour each week I will be showcasing the hottest releases from local artists in the Brisbane music scene, as well as those from interstate and overseas. I have been writing reviews of studio releases, be they singles or EPs, since June of 2024. I started reviewing live performances in September of 2024, and have been enjoying these immensely! My aim for this show is to see how it works in a radio format.
The Idle Minds is a Brisbane-based duo who released their single "Sideways" on the 27th of March this year. They are one of the support acts for fjordie at the launch of her single “Please You More” at Season Three Space on Thursday the 10th of September. Kody Roby and his bandmate Pace catch up with Alan for a chat about these musical adventures and a whole lot more.
