Welcome to Protis Reviews. My name is Alan, and for an hour each week I will be showcasing the hottest releases from local artists in the Brisbane music scene, as well as those from interstate and overseas. I have been writing reviews of studio releases, be they singles or EPs, since June of 2024. I started reviewing live performances in September of 2024, and have been enjoying these immensely! My aim for this show is to see how it works in a radio format.
Brisbane singer-songwriter Jonte is originally from Mackay. He released his most recent song "Fantasize" in January of this year, and his previous single came out three years prior to that. He looks set to bring out more music later this year, and he joins Alan for a chat about his musical progress so far.
