Welcome to Protis Reviews. My name is Alan, and for an hour each week I will be showcasing the hottest releases from local artists in the Brisbane music scene, as well as those from interstate and overseas. I have been writing reviews of studio releases, be they singles or EPs, since June of 2024. I started reviewing live performances in September of 2024, and have been enjoying these immensely! My aim for this show is to see how it works in a radio format.
This week on "Protis Reviews" casts the spotlight upon Brisbane singer-songwriter KIORE. She released her latest EP entitled "Seedling" on the 5th of December, and had an unofficial launch gig at Mirrorball Ministries in West End on the 12th of December. Throughout tonight's show, Alan will play "Seedling" in its entirety as well as songs from KIORE's previous EP "Every Moment Under The Sun."
