Welcome to Protis Reviews. My name is Alan, and for an hour each week I will be showcasing the hottest releases from local artists in the Brisbane music scene, as well as those from interstate and overseas. I have been writing reviews of studio releases, be they singles or EPs, since June of 2024. I started reviewing live performances in September of 2024, and have been enjoying these immensely! My aim for this show is to see how it works in a radio format.
Sally’s Candy Shop is the musical project of Marco, who is an acoustic rock musician based in Brisbane. He is a semi-regular performer at the open mic event at Archive Beer Boutique in West End, hosted by James Scott of Lantern Sessions. His most recent single release "The Job Of Life" first saw the light of day on the 29th of July 2026, and Marco joins Alan to chat all about it.
