Welcome to Protis Reviews. My name is Alan, and for an hour each week I will be showcasing the hottest releases from local artists in the Brisbane music scene, as well as those from interstate and overseas. I have been writing reviews of studio releases, be they singles or EPs, since June of 2024. I started reviewing live performances in September of 2024, and have been enjoying these immensely! My aim for this show is to see how it works in a radio format. I will play a song, and then read my review of it. Further down the track, I plan to incorporate both gig reviews and even interviews into my time on air.

For the very first edition of "Protis Reviews", Alan takes a look at single releases by two of Brisbane's emerging artists. He then goes into detail about two gigs that he has attended over the last two months. Finally, he plays tracks by two bands from overseas. In this case, good things definitely come in twos!
