Welcome to Protis Reviews. My name is Alan, and for an hour each week I will be showcasing the hottest releases from local artists in the Brisbane music scene, as well as those from interstate and overseas. I have been writing reviews of studio releases, be they singles or EPs, since June of 2024. I started reviewing live performances in September of 2024, and have been enjoying these immensely! My aim for this show is to see how it works in a radio format.
This week on "Protis Reviews" features an interview with Brisbane artist fjordie. She released her single "Paper Planes" on the 1st of August this year, and will be launching this song at Greaser in Fortitude Valley on Friday the 7th of November. This gig doubles as a celebration of a band named Hatless dropping their second EP entitled "This Time It's Different."
