Welcome to Protis Reviews. My name is Alan, and for an hour each week I will be showcasing the hottest releases from local artists in the Brisbane music scene, as well as those from interstate and overseas. I have been writing reviews of studio releases, be they singles or EPs, since June of 2024. I started reviewing live performances in September of 2024, and have been enjoying these immensely! My aim for this show is to see how it works in a radio format.
This week's episode of "Protis Reviews" is entitled "In The Nick Of Time", and is a reference to fellow 4ZZZ announcer Nick Stephan. He has been instrumental in helping Alan get to where he is today in radio, be it giving feedback on live reviews or hosting the final day of his Announcer Training. He is the new recently-appointed Station Manager at 4ZZZ, and Alan's content this week will consist of releases from the month of November.
