Protecting Our Underwater Kelp Forests
Many of us are aware of human activity’s effects on rainforests or coral reefs, however… are you aware of another major threatened ecosystem - the Giant Kelp forests? Do you know where the kelp forests are or even what kelp is?
4ZZZ’s Eliot Rifkin chatted with Nur Arafeh Dalmau whoʻs part of an international team currently mapping our kelp forests and determining the best way to protect them.
