Researchers use AI to tackle youth vaping
Similar to smoking, vaping also causes lung-related diseases but more primary school-aged children are becoming addicted to e-cigarettes although they are not allowed by law. 4ZZZ journalist Grace Koo chatted with Janni Leung, a research fellow at National Centre for Youth Substance Use Research at the University of Queensland, who was inspired by the advancement of AI technology to develop a way of using it to create promotion materials targeting at youth vapers.
