Slato is an electronic artist in a very literal sense. His music and visual work is made straight from the electrical circuit boards of discarded videogames consoles. Armed with copper wire, soldering iron and the know-how only a audacious sound engineer would possess, Slato enters the electronic music scene.
Slato creates experimental, yet intelligent and wiry chiptune. His EP "Hard Lo-Fi For Hard Sci-FI" released this year was entirely self produced and demonstrates his complete disregard for all conventions in electronic music composition.
His performances are accompanied by sound reactive visuals that are generated by circuit bending videogame consoles. The results are a type of informed chaos that defies explanation.
