The Trams

The Trams is a band from Brisbane with Tony Moore (guitar, vocals), Noel Mengel (keys, guitar, vocals), Mark McGregor (bass, vocals) and Rob Mellett (drums, vocals). 

Their second album Tiny Sparks was released in 2024 and went to No 2 on the 4ZZZ weekly chart with regular airplay for singles Sense of Fashion, Sweet El Nino and Nowhere Around Here, which also featured in the station’s Hot 100 for the year.  

The band members have a deep history in Brisbane music and bands such as This Five Minutes, Curiosity Shop, The Version, Dog Fish Cat Bird and The Casuarinas. The Trams are working on their third album with new songs coming in 2026.
