Michael Milton

Michael Milton is a Brisbane/Meanjin-based songwriter/musician.
I’ve played in a number of bands, including lead guitar for garage rockers The Busymen (my song “Evangelist for Rock’n’Roll” hit #44 in 4ZZZ Hot100); lead guitarist for Bloodshot (with ex-members of Lime Spiders and Fur) and are currently out front with garage-alt-rockers The New Moods and with indie-pop outfit Ant Farm.
Michael Milton’s debut EP “XM” is 4 guitar-driven tracks, drawing on '80s alternative, garage rock and blues influences. Recorded with and featuring Simon and Vic from Some Jerks. XM explores themes of lust, loss, faith, heartbreak and those fragile edges of the human condition.
