
A Brisbane-born artist recently returned home, Irvine’s musical identity is a tapestry of contrasts: from the eccentric energy of a Melbourne circus clown band to the storied traditions of Edinburgh’s folk scene - she is known for her whimsical folk sound, tender storytelling & delicately beautiful vocals. After pouring years of grit and heart into her duo Weird Cousins, the project’s dissolution led Irvine to tour with BBC Radio Scotland Singer-Songwriter of the Year shortlisted artist Moteh Parrott. However, it was the transformative arrival of motherhood that pushed her to finally claim her own space as a songwriter.
