Canny and Hall

Canny and Hall ask the big questions that no-one knows the answers to, like which one’s Canny and which one’s Hall? The fact that they sometimes play as an acoustic duo and sometimes as a five-piece band just adds to the riddle. Taking inspiration from everything from folk-punk to 90s grunge to nursery rhymes and crime novels, they tell stories that are sometimes relatable, sometimes outlandish and always filled with a colourful cast of recurring characters. Switching between humour and heartache, heavy punk riffs to jangly pop tunes, they’re eclectic enough to be the surprise act on any line-up.
